I think I may have an obsession about 'bugs'...

Having made Oscar's bug picture, I think I may have developed a bit of an obsession about them, I keep thinking of how I can layer and develop the little creepy crawlies into objects that people would like to own.   I have a book at school which has page after page of beautiful beetles of different types and colours, which I pour over again and again for inspiration. 

So, I have begun what I would imagine is going to be a series of bugs, in varying colours and styles, all of which will develop different personalities I am sure.  This is the beginning of my latest one, I think she is a she, probably due to the background colours. She needs to be adorned and embellished yet, watch this space...
